Some summer views of St John the baptist

A winter's tale (and a summer's view from afar)

It's not always this cold, but we did have a good snowfall this winter, which lasted a few days. Here is a photo of the east end of the church, which backs on to fields between Piddington and Hackleton. Many walkers pass through our churchyard on their daily stroll, and from here you can also walk to Salcey Forest.

The church is visible from the tree walk in Salcey Forest, just about. It helps if you know which way to look (in the direction of Northampton).
